The countdown has officially begun! From November 24 to 29, 2025, the Salerno International Film Festival returns to the Teatro Augusteo for its 79th edition.
Once again this year, the Festival will bring to the big screen feature films, short films, documentaries, and animated films from around the world, offering the audience a rich and diverse overview of contemporary independent cinema.
But the Festival is not just about films in the theater: for a full week, Salerno will transform into a vibrant, city-wide stage, featuring side events, meetings, and activities open to everyone. It will be a unique opportunity for citizens, industry professionals, enthusiasts, and tourists to come together, making the city itself a living dialogue between culture and community.
The official program of the 79th edition will be unveiled after the launch press conference, scheduled for mid-November. However, in the coming days, audiences can expect sneak peeks, special initiatives, and news leading up to the Festival.
